The Challenge Cup also famous as the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup due to sponsorship reason, is a knockout rugby league cup competition organized by the Rugby Football League.
It is held annually since 1896, with the exception of 1915–1919 and 1939–1940. It involves amateur, semi-professional and professional clubs.
The first match will take place on 27 January, when Rochdale Mayfield takes on Crosfields.
The most recent 2017 Challenge Cup title winner-champion is Hull who defeated Wigan in the final, scores 18–14 on 26 August 2017 at Wembley Stadium, who also won the title in 2016 at Wembley.
