Team USA wins first Wrestling World Cup after 15 Years, Overall Secured 14th title.

The Nine months back, the United States won its first world group title since 1995. The reprise execution came here this end of the week, as Team USA won its first UWW Men's Freestyle World Cup title since 2003 but overall secured 14th titles.

The United States men's free-form wrestling group went an immaculate 4-0 this end of the week, crushing India, Japan and Georgia in pool rivalry, at that point toppling Azerbaijan in Sunday evening's Gold Medal coordinate, 6-4.

 “This is a great team and they performed really well this weekend,” USA Wrestling National Freestyle Coach Bill Zadick said. “It was really exciting to win a heated finals match against a very good team from Azerbaijan. It was a barnburner and a great finish.”

 “This is really meaningful to have an opportunity to win this,” said Burroughs, an Olympic gold medalist and four-time world champion, after his win. “I’m undefeated in the World Cup in my career, but I’ve never brought home the big cup.”


 "It was another opportunity to seal it up for the United States," Snyder, who clinched the world men’s freestyle team title for the US last August, said. 

 "I would always pick myself to go out there and wrestle when it comes down to a team win.
"We have a lot of good guys, but I feel real confident in my ability to wrestle under those kinds of circumstances."
