All You Need to Know about the Aintree Grand National 2018.

     It's the biggest race in the British horse racing calendar - the Randox Health Grand National. It is Three day festival including 13th April known as Ladies Day.

The first Grand National was held at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool in 1839, and still, it takes place till now.

When & Where the Grand National 2018.

It consists of two full circuits of a unique 2¼ mile (3,600 meters) track.
The Aintree Festival starts on Thursday, April 12, and until the final race on Saturday 14, while the first match show began on 1.40pm on an opening day.
The final show/contest set for 5.15pm on Saturday 14.

How many Runners and Fences are in it.

The race includes over 30 jumps around the course, and nearly over four miles of track and 30 jumps. With 40 horses set to compete in the iconic Aintree race.

A total of 21 races will take place during the Grand National show. With the 30 fences, including The Chair, The Water Jump, and Becher's Brook, both horses and jockeys are faced with a tricky test.

Aintree Grand National 2018 Purse, Winners Prize Money.

The overall prize money is £1million, the winner will get £561,300, while second place will be awarded £211,100.
