Jason Belmonte is the only player to win three Masters title in a row (2013, 2014 and 2015), and he won again in 2017 to become the only player in PBA Masters history to win the Most Masters titles - fourth time.


Denmark's Thomas Larsen, defeated top seed Jesper Svensson of Sweden in a see-saw match, 197-176, for his third Professional Bowlers Association Tour title and the first major victory of his career. He became the first bowler from Denmark to win the USBC Masters.

The Danish, 31-year-old right-hander win earned Larsen a $30,000 top prize.

  • The USBC Masters is a Ten-Pin Bowing championship event  organized by US Bowling congress. The Pro. Bowling Association (PBA) conducted this championship every year. 
  • The 1st unit of ABC - USBC Masters was held in 1951 & won by Lee Jouglard.
  • The Masters is open to PBA members and any USBC member that meets average requirements. It is a part of the World Bowling Tour.
  • The USBC Masters previously since 2005 it was known as the ABC Masters organized by the American Bowling congress. 
  • Since 2008 USBC Masters is held in Spring.
  • A. Simonsen become the youngest major major winner-champion at 19 years and 39 days old. Mike Aulby is the 1st player who won the USBC Masters 3 times.
