  • Seria A is the top club competition of the Italian Football. The first football competition was held in Italy organized by Italian Football Federation (FIGC) in 1898 in Turin & Genoa was become the 1st champion by defeating the Internazionale FC in 1898. 
  • It has different names till 1929-30 when the Serie A season was inaugurated & the first season winner-champion is Internazionale (Inter Milan). Since 1929 the Serie A was organized by Lega Calcio but from 2010 Lega Serie A was created to run this.
