- Bayern Munich earned their Eleventh consecutive Bundesliga title as they beat Cologne 2-1 in one of the most exciting & thrilling season finales in recent memory.

Dortmund's players and fans were left dejected despite coming back from 2-0 down at the break, with Sebastian Haller having a first-half penalty saved.
Dortmund was indeed set to be crowned champion. Although it was trailing 2-1 in its own game against Mainz, Bayern had conceded an 81st minute equalizer against Köln, putting Dortmund a point ahead in the table.
While the Bavarians claimed their 32st German league title and their 32th Bundesliga crown since the introduction of the top division in 1963,
